Columbia Police respond to shots fired at West Texas Avenue, April 26

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

At about 12 p.m. on April 26, Columbia police officers responded to a shots-fired call in the area of West Texas Avenue and Creasy Springs in reference to a shooting.

The investigation revealed Nakyia Johnson, 26, had shot and hit a vehicle with her ex-boyfriend in it. There were no injuries and no other property damaged.

Johnson was arrested for first-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
