New York Governor Announces New Efficient Homes New York
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) will administer the New Efficient Homes New York program, following New York Governor Hochul's announcement expanding the "Let Them Build" initiative. The program will deliver affordable and efficient new construction housing. The portfolio includes $75 million for cold climate heat pumps, $25 million to support planning activities, and additional funding for the Buildings of Excellence Competition.
