City of Indio to Host Free Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training November 20–22

The City of Indio invites community members to participate in a free, three-day Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training designed to equip residents with essential disaster preparedness and emergency response skills.

Participants will receive hands-on training in fire suppression safety, light search and rescue, basic disaster medical operations, and team organization. The program empowers residents to respond safely and effectively during emergencies while helping build a more resilient community.

Training Details:

• Dates: November 20-22, 2026

• Friday, November 20: 5-9 p.m.

• Saturday and Sunday, November 21-22: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

• Location: Indio Emergency Operations Center, 45222 Towne Street, Indio, CA 92201
