"Phillip Island is the place to be in October, and the MotoGP is the headline event of Bass Coast Shire Council's events program. The event injects millions into our economy, supports local jobs and hospitality, and showcases Phillip Island on the international stage,"
"Phillip Island has proudly hosted the Australian MotoGP for nearly 30 years at the world-famous Grand Prix Circuit, and the celebrations spill into Cowes with our family-friendly street party. Last year, the Cowes MotoGP Entertainment Precinct drew over 6,000 people and this year we're ready to make it even bigger."
"And with the $8 million Federal Government investment into the upcoming Cowes streetscape works, Phillip Island is being firmly placed on the map as a destination where world-class events meet world-class spaces."

To receive a complimentary ticket, just present your proof of residency at any gate on the day or avoid the queues by collecting your tickets in advance from Gate 1 on Thursday, 16 October.
