Karnataka PGCET 2026 Claim Slip: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially activated the Verification / Claim Slip Download Portal for Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2026. The candidates who have completed their document verification for admission to MBA, MCA, M.E, M.Tech, and M.Arch programs can now access and download their claim slip through the official link at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. This claim slip is the mandatory verification proof and login key for the centralized Phase 1 option entry and seat allocation that will follow. The portal will be enabled till September 15, 2026 (2:00 PM) .

Karnataka PGCET 2026 Verification / Claim Slip Significance

Candidates must bring the verification slip to participate in option entry. The verification slip has important credentials and candidate information that will be used in later admission rounds:

  • Access Key for Option Entry: The slip has a QR code and a secret Option Entry Number that you will need to use to log into the choice-filling portal.
  • Document Verification Summary: Contains all verified candidate credentials, rank, quota allocations, category-wise classification, and verified scores of the degree.
  • One-Time Download Security: You will be required to authenticate yourself using a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number or email ID in order to download.
  • KEA Help Desk Support: Candidates will also have the opportunity to report errors in their printed rank, category, and qualifying marks on the claim slip (or if they encounter technical problems in downloading the OTP verification) to the KEA Help Desk to be rectified before locking the option choices.

Phase 1 Web Option Window: Expected Release Timeline & Key Instructions

KEA is expected to open the web option entry for Phase 1 with a 5 to 7-day gap after the release of the verification slip (i.e., from September 10 to September 15-17, 2026 ) or immediately after the claim slip download portal closes on September 15, 2026 (2:00 PM). Candidates must go through the MBA, MCA, M.Tech seat matrix released to check the seat availability in the participating institutions before filling the choices online. You must have your verification slip downloaded and saved, as it has the unique Option Entry Number (secret key) and QR code that you will need to unlock your dashboard. Candidates are strongly recommended to make a manual priority list of desired colleges and courses before logging into the portal, enter as many options as eligible to increase the chances of allotment, and not forget to save and lock choices before the deadline.
