Clyde Companies Connects with Students at Utah High School Rodeo State Finals

Clyde Companies recently participated in the Utah High School Rodeo Association State Finals in Heber City, Utah, where teams from Sunpro, Geneva Rock, W.W. Clyde & Co., Bridgesource and Suncore connected with students and families from across Utah.

Clyde Companies created "Clyde Town," a western-themed, hands-on experience designed to introduce students to careers in construction and the building materials industry. Visitors stopped by to learn more about the companies and talk with employees about career paths ranging from skilled trades and operations to engineering and project management.

The event provided a unique opportunity to engage with students in an environment that naturally aligns with many of the values shared by both the rodeo and construction industries, including hard work, teamwork and a commitment to doing the job right.

"Events like this give us a chance to have real conversations with students about the opportunities available in our industry," said Abby Benton, Employee Experience Specialist at Clyde Companies. "Many are surprised by the variety of careers available and the impact those careers have on the communities where they live."

The Utah High School Rodeo State Finals brings together students and families from throughout the state each year. Clyde Companies was proud to support the event while helping the next generation learn more about careers that build and strengthen Utah communities.
