RICHARDSON, Texas - Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas is awarding $2.9 million in 2026-27 Blue Impact℠ grants to 139 community-based organizations. These non-profits work to improve care access and address social drivers that influence Texans' health outcomes.
The Blue Impact grant program supports initiatives that advance long term, community-driven health solutions. Grant recipients were selected through an evaluation process focused on measurable impact, sustainability and alignment with BCBSTX's mission to support healthier communities statewide.
"For nearly a century, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas has partnered with organizations that understand the unique needs of their communities," said BCBSTX President Jim Springfield. "The Blue Impact grants continue that legacy by investing in proven, local solutions that strengthen neighborhoods and help Texans live healthier lives."
