Investing in Port Washington Students and Schools

Port Washington has been my home for a long time. The people here aren't just community members, they are my family, friends, neighbors, and people I see around town every day. We share a deep sense of pride in this community and care about its future. That makes the latest support from Project Lighthouse especially meaningful to me.

Earlier this year, Oracle, OpenAI, and Vantage Data Centers announced a $225,000 donation to the Port Washington-Saukville Education Foundation to support students and teachers across the Port Washington-Saukville School District. We're now seeing that investment take shape. The first grant will be used to support opportunities across grade levels and schools, from a retreat for all fifth graders and educational toys for kindergarten classrooms to new cameras for the high school Art & Design Department. It will also provide mentoring kits for school counselors, hands-on learning materials for students with special needs, and STEM kits and learning resources for fourth-grade classrooms at Saukville Elementary School.

"This support will create meaningful opportunities for our students, staff, and families, with an impact that will be felt for years to come. We are incredibly grateful to welcome Oracle, OpenAI, and Vantage as valued partners in our mission of being Student Focused, Future Ready."

Having been part of Port Washington long before the Lighthouse data center campus was announced, I know how much our local institutions mean to the people who live here. Through my role at Oracle, I get to help make sure our investments in the area support the things that matter to this community. Our schools are an important part of that. They help shape the next generation, bring families together, and are central to what makes Port Washington a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

The Lighthouse campus represents a significant investment in Port Washington. It's creating thousands of jobs, generating an estimated $11 billion in economic impact, and being built with a focus on responsible resource use. But our commitment to the community extends well beyond the boundaries of the project itself. I'm proud that we're investing in Port Washington's students and educators, and I'm looking forward to continuing to listen, build relationships, and find ways for Oracle and its partners to contribute to our community.
