UPDATE: ELMWOOD DRIVE ROAD CLOSURE

Lafayette, LA - The road closure on the 300 block of Elmwood Drive, between Robley Drive and Maplewood Drive, has been extended to March 20, 2026.

During this time, crews will be replacing a subsurface cross drain to improve drainage in the area.

Detours and Access:

  • Detour routes will be posted and include Robley Drive, Broadmoor Boulevard, and Maplewood Drive.
  • Local access on Elmwood Drive will be maintained throughout the work.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and follow posted detours for a safe and smooth commute. LCG thanks the public for their patience while this important drainage infrastructure improvement is completed.
