Kids Kingdom Reopening With Ribbon Cutting

Kids Kingdom is officially reopening on Saturday, December 20 at 10:00 a.m. with the completion of Phase 2 of park improvements, bringing exciting new features and meaningful upgrades for families across Rowlett.

Phase 2 includes the addition of artificial turf and expanded shade throughout the park, with a special focus on areas designed for younger children. Several major park facilities were also reconditioned, improving comfort, safety, and overall usability for visitors.

New play features include a net climber with a bridge leading to the Rowlett Water Tower and a giant slide, new shaded swings, interactive musical play elements, and upgraded slides, climbing nets, step pods, spinners, and play surfaces throughout the playground. These enhancements build on Phase 1, completed in June, which focused on refurbishing the main play structure.

Together, both phases represent a significant investment in play, safety, and quality of life for the community. With the recent full renovation of Wet Zone, the park has been transformed into an even more vibrant destination for families to gather, play, and make lasting memories.
