Taft, one of the fastest-growing law firms in the nation, welcomes Zachary Auspitz and Robert Kraus to the firm's West Palm Beach office.
Auspitz joins as of counsel in Taft's Commercial Litigation and Construction groups. He focuses his practice on construction litigation, lien and bond claims, construction defect claims, professional negligence claims, arbitration, and contract negotiation. Throughout his career, he has worked on various complex litigation matters concerning business and commercial disputes and defended nationwide class action claims arising under consumer protection statutes in both state and federal court.
Kraus joins as of counsel in Taft's Commercial Litigation and Construction groups. His practice focuses on litigation and advisory matters involving development and construction disputes. He represents developers, contractors, property owners, and other stakeholders in a wide range of construction-related issues. Kraus has experience managing sophisticated litigation disputes from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting written discovery, taking and defending depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts; and drafting dispositive and non-dispositive motions. On the transactional side, he has drafted and negotiated AIA and industry-standard construction and design contracts.
