Caltrans Construction District 8 – State Route 74 Update The project will include:
Caltrans District 8 has announced an upcoming pavement rehabilitation project on State Route 74 in Lake Elsinore.
This work is part of Caltrans' ongoing efforts to improve road conditions and accessibility for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists.
The project will include:
- Pavement repairs with asphalt hot mix
- Cold plane asphalt concrete work
- ADA curb ramp upgrades
Project Information
- Location: SR-74 from Grand Avenue to Interstate 15
- Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.
- Start Date: Late September 2025
Motorists should plan routes accordingly, expect potential delays, and reduce speed when traveling through the work zone. Please note that schedules are subject to change due to weather or other factors.
