Kameron BabaAs UA's homecoming queen, she will get to select an on-campus passion project to receive a donation from the Homecoming Queen Endowed Fund. She hopes her Better with Baba initiative, benefiting the Camellia Center, will bring students closer to much-needed resources.
"Centered around health, wellness and service, Better with Baba will connect students with valuable resources both on campus and throughout the Tuscaloosa community. We will work to bridge students with resources beyond campus, emphasize the importance of balancing physical and mental wellness and raise funds to benefit the Camellia Center," Baba said.
"Through projects such as a UA Wellness Week, Wellness Passport and various fundraisers benefiting the Camellia Center, Better with Baba will work to create a healthier, more connected and more supportive community. This will ultimately help us better the campus around us."
