Polymarket Secures Strategic Investment from NYSE Parent Intercontinental Exchange

Polymarket, the world's largest prediction and information marketplace, has raised a strategic investment from Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE) - the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange. Under the terms of the agreement, ICE will invest up to $2 billion in Polymarket at a $9 billion post-money valuation.

THE COMPANY

Polymarket is the world's largest prediction platform, allowing users to trade on the outcomes of future events and earn when their forecasts prove correct. As traders respond to breaking developments in real time, Polymarket's market prices offer one of the most accurate barometers of public expectations. Institutions, media outlets, and individuals alike use its insights to understand and report on what's ahead. In 2025 alone, billions of dollars in predictions have been made across categories spanning elections, current events, business, and pop culture.
