On January 20, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Interior and Defense, along with the Heads of Intelligence Services of Uzbekistan and Türkiye participated in a meeting within the framework of the "4+4" mechanism.
The most acute topics of bilateral relations, regional issues, and global developments were included on the common agenda. It was noted that the world is currently experiencing unprecedented turbulence and rapid transformations, while developing countries are facing an increasing number of challenges.
Taking into account modern global realities, the most efficient ways of cooperation aimed at ensuring sustainable development and prosperity based on strong security were discussed. It was emphasized that there is a single shared goal - to improve the lives of the peoples - and commitment to this goal was reaffirmed.
In order to efficiently coordinate joint efforts, a Joint Action Plan for the near future was adopted.
