Missouri State Board of Accountancy revokes license of Lake Ozarks CPA…

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Today, the Missouri State Board of Accountancy announced it has revoked the license of Kevin Scott Tate to practice as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), license number 2015015736.

This action was taken due to violations of Section 326.310.2 RSMo, as Tate committed misconduct, fraud and dishonesty against his employer in St. Louis County and Jefferson County. The revocation means Tate can no longer represent himself as a CPA or perform functions that require a CPA license.

The Missouri State Board of Accountancy is the state agency that regulates Certified Public Accountants in Missouri. In addition, the board issues CPA licenses and CPA firm permits, sets policy regarding the practice of public accounting, investigates complaints concerning CPAs, and takes disciplinary action against CPAs and CPA firms when appropriate.
