UPDATE - News Release Updated Traffic Advisory Summit Avenue

On March 21, at approximately 8:10 p.m., Greensboro Police responded to a collision with injuries in the 3600 block of Summit Avenue.

A preliminary investigation indicates that four men were involved in an altercation in the roadway in a non-crosswalk area when they were struck by a vehicle. Three of the men were taken to local hospitals for serious injuries and one was treated at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Impairment is not suspected of the driver.

No injuries were noted by the driver and passenger in the vehicle.

The Greensboro Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit is continuing the investigation. Additional details are not immediately available for public release.
