Deputy Permanent Secretary meets with Director-General for Asia-Pacific, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico

On 6 November 2025, Mr. Chettapan Maksamphan, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, had a discussion with the Director-General for Asia-Pacific, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, on the occasion of his visit to Thailand to co-chair the 6th Thailand - Mexico Political Consultations.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the success of various commemorative activities held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2025, which has contributed to strengthening people-to-people ties. They reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in mutually beneficial areas, particularly trade and investment, education and academic exchanges, as well as collaboration in international fora. They also emphasized the importance of advancing joint efforts on issues of global concern amid current challenges, such as artificial intelligence, transnational crimes, and also multi-national issues, including the reform of the United Nations.
