First Lady Diana Nausėdienė has arrived in Kyiv to participate in the Fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, hosted by the spouse of the President of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska.
This year's summit theme is "Education Shaping the World." Diana Nausėdienė will take part in a discussion on access to education.
The First Lady will deliver a lecture at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv titled "Access to Quality Education for All and Everyone" and will visit the Veterans Mental Health Center, whose primary mission is to become a university-level knowledge hub on veterans' mental health. The center focuses on the mental health of soldiers, veterans, their families and communities, as well as on research, methodology and training.
According to the organizers of the Fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, this year's event will bring together those who believe in the transformative role of education - including first ladies and gentlemen, Nobel Prize laureates, ministers of education, teachers, and world-renowned thinkers and intellectuals. Discussions will focus on how education not only develops knowledge but also fosters resilience, a culture of coexistence, collaborative skills, and peacemaking abilities.
