Bicyclist Killed In Saturday Morning Hit And Run Crash On Harding Place

Traffic Division investigators are working to identify the driver involved in Saturday's 1:30 a.m. hit and run crash that killed a 66-year-old bicyclist on Harding Place near Tampa Drive. The preliminary investigation indicates the bicyclist was struck from behind while traveling in a westbound lane by the suspect vehicle.

The bicyclist was not wearing any protective gear. He died at the scene. Efforts are underway to notify his family.

The vehicle is believed to be a 2016-2018 gray Nissan Altima based on a part located at the scene. The Altima will have front-end damage and possibly a broken headlight.
