Madrid, July 8, 2026. - As part of its commitment to advancing the development of its SOC by xMDR service Prosegur Cybersecurity has introduced two new modules, xCope and xEcute, which aim to provide companies and organizations with a new corporate digital monitoring service and a high-performance automation and integration service to consolidate a more intelligent, scalable, and efficiency-oriented security architecture.
Developed by engineers from Prosegur's cybersecurity unit in Spain, xCope and xEcute bridge the gap between the identification of digital threats and the ability to respond operationally. While xCope acts as an external monitoring system that anticipates potential risks, xEcute provides an automation framework designed to execute containment actions and coordinate business processes efficiently.
Both are part of Prosegur Cybersecurity's ongoing commitment to developing specialized technology in Spain and to democratizing access to advanced cybersecurity capabilities for a wide range of organizations.
Surveillance beyond the perimeter
xCope is a cyber-surveillance system designed to monitor activity outside organizations' direct control. Its primary function is to act as an early-warning system capable of identifying risk indicators in unindexed areas of the Internet, detecting fraudulent domain registrations and monitoring leaked employee credentials.
The rise of remote work, the use of cloud services and the proliferation of unmanaged tools have reduced the effectiveness of the traditional corporate perimeter. Today, a significant portion of the activity affecting companies takes place in external environments; this is where the exchange of corporate information occurs and phishing campaigns are prepared.
As Carlos A. Fernández, director of the xMDR division at Prosegur Cybersecurity, explains: "The activity affecting companies is no longer concentrated solely on their internal systems. With xCope, we've incorporated a monitoring capability that alerts organizations to suspicious activity before it is executed. We do this by monitoring emerging vulnerabilities in credentials and systems, as well as brand abuse."
This corporate digital surveillance add-on is integrated into Prosegur Cybersecurity's SOC by xMDR service through different service levels that allow its scope to be tailored to each organization's level of exposure. This structure makes it easier for companies of various sizes to access external analysis and anticipate activities that could impact their operations, compliance, or reputation.
High automation efficiency
To complement this external monitoring, the company has also introduced an automation module that reduces the time gap between detection and response, while addressing technical, technological and procedural aspects to provide relief to all teams involved.
xEcute performs workflows that streamline synchronization between tools, teams and procedures, enabling the automation of pre-approved actions and drastically reducing manual effort in response processes. With this capability, organizations can significantly reduce exposure time, improve operational efficiency, and ensure that critical actions are executed consistently and seamlessly.
"With xEcute, we are taking a decisive step toward modernizing response processes. This module allows us to significantly reduce reliance on manual tasks and ensure that critical actions are executed with the speed and consistency demanded by today's cyberthreat landscape. Its ability to coordinate tools, teams and procedures provides organizations with a level of operational efficiency that is difficult to achieve with traditional models," concludes the director of Prosegur Cybersecurity's xMDR division.
