On 16 June 2026, a solemn ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus to cancel the state postage stamp '25th Anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation'.
The event was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov; the Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), Sohail Khan; and the First Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatisation of the Republic of Belarus, Pavel Tkach.
In his welcoming address, the Minister noted that the postage stamp would serve as a vivid reminder of the importance our country has always attached to cooperation across the Eurasian space and the SCO's role in fostering trust-based interaction.
The postal project, launched on Belarus's initiative to mark the organisation's 25th anniversary, consists of an artistic postage stamp, a first-day envelope and a special commemorative cancellation stamp.
