The Memphis area is expected to experience extremely high temperatures and dangerous heat index values over the next several days. Prolonged exposure to excessive heat can quickly lead to heat exhaustion, heat stroke, and other heat-related illnesses. With the heat index rising across campus, your Campus Police team is here to help keep our faculty, staff, and students safe, cool, and hydrated!
Hydration Stations Available on Tuesday, June 30:
Stop by for a refreshing bottle of water, take a quick break from the heat, and connect with your campus officers.
Hydration Tip for Tuesday: Drink water consistently throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty. Avoid excessive caffeine and take breaks in shaded or air-conditioned areas to prevent heat-related illness.
Cool Off with the Cops: Hydrate & Say Hi!
We're here for you! Stay safe, stay cool, and we'll see you around campus!
