Western Conservation District to Host Local Work Group Meeting

Western Conservation District to Host Local Work Group Meeting
The Western Conservation District (WCD), serving Jackson, Mason, and Putnam Counties, will host a Local Work Group (LWG) meeting on April 28, 2026 at 9:00am.
The meeting will be held at:
USDA Service Center
204 Viand Street
Point Pleasant, WV 25550
The purpose of the Local Work Group meeting is to gather input from landowners, agricultural producers, partner organizations, and community members to help identify natural resource concerns and guide conservation priorities within the district. Local feedback plays a key role in shaping USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) programs and technical assistance for the coming year.
Residents from all three counties served by WCD are encouraged to attend and participate.
Parking is limited so please call in advance about spillover parking lot. Please see map showing parking (Green is parking available at USDA Service Center, Red is spillover parking at Main Street Baptist Church).
