National Botanical Garden

In spring, the botanical garden becomes a vibrant "living classroom" where everyone can learn about nature from the millions of spring blossoms: there are nearly 1,000 varieties on display, including peach, magnolia, and plum.
From March 21 to September 21, the garden is host to a special exhibition titled "The Amazing Encounters of Plants and Animals" with three themed areas - the "Hardy Begonia Zone" (秋海棠区), the "Fern Forest" (蕨世之森), and the "Predators' Garden" (捕食者花园) - showcasing fascinating scientific concepts such as color symbiosis, rainforest ecosystems, and predatory symbiosis.
Olympic Forest Park's Flower Festival

The 3rd Beijing Chaoyang Garden Festival and the 15th Olympic Forest Park Flower Viewing Season - Spring Flower Festival is now underway.
Between the east gate and the north gate of the North Park, crabapple, flowering plum, and cherry blossoms form a dense floral landscape. The 3-kilometer-long "Waterfront Flower Corridor" by Aohai Lake in the South Park showcases a dazzling variety of species with overlapping blooming periods, including forsythia, apricot, purple-leafed plum, peach, crabapple, and cherry.
Haitang Huaxi of Yuan Dynasty City Wall Relics Park
Haitang Huaxi (literally "a stream of crabapple flowers") is one of Beijing's most renowned spring flower events. On April 2, the park launched its Haitang Huaxi Festival, which features over 10,000 crabapple trees of 56 varieties presented together in full for the first time.
Beixiaohe Park Cherry Blossom Festival
The Beijing Chaoyang Garden Festival has officially opened, featuring the city's first 4.2-kilometer "Cherry Blossom River". Visitors can take a boat cruise along a 3.8-kilometer route to enjoy the cherry blossoms. During the holiday period, nearly 6,000 cherry blossom trees of over 60 varieties throughout Beixiaohe Park will reach their peak blooming stage, with the flowering season lasting until the end of April.

Yuyuantan Park 37th Cherry Blossom Culture Festival
This year's cherry blossom festival features an increased variety of cherry blossoms, now totaling 50 varieties. The park has introduced a new IP character, "Ying Xiaobei" (樱小北), inspired by the long-tailed tit native to the park, along with a series of stationery products and DIY stress-relief craft kits. Classic cherry blossom ice cream and limited-edition desserts have also been launched.

Zhongshan Park 31st Spring Flowers - Tulip Culture Festival
The festival features seven themed exhibition areas, with an outdoor tulip planting area of approximately 4,000 square meters. The "Blooming Zhongshan - Spring Tulips Galore: Tulip Special Exhibition" is hosted at the Tanghua Wu, showcasing over 50 varieties and more than 3,000 tulip plants.
Duration: until April 30
2026 Dajue Temple Magnolia Culture Festival
The 2026 Dajue Temple Magnolia Culture Festival integrates folk music flash mobs, a cultural and museum creative market, tea-tasting activities to welcome spring, and interactive photo-taking check-in stations, presenting the public with a spring cultural feast.
Duration: until April 12
2026 Tanzhe Temple Magnolia Viewing Season
Tanzhe Temple's over 400-year-old Erqiao magnolia trees have entered their peak viewing period. During the event, visitors who post their spring flower photos from Tanzhe Temple on social media with designated hashtags will have the chance to receive limited-edition cultural and creative gifts. On specific dates (April 4, 5, and 6), visitors can share their photos to receive prayer cards and participate in fun games to win souvenirs.

2026 Wenyu Life Festival - Echoes of the Wild
The festival revolves around four main sections: "Market, Trendy Activities, Music, and Camping". It features a marketplace bringing together over 20 food vendors and more than ten cultural and creative vendors, as well as a pet interaction zone and a camping leisure area. Daily lawn concerts will also be held from 13:30 to 16:30.
Duration: from April 4 to 6, daily from 9:00 to 18:00

Beijing International Flower Port Tulip Culture Festival
The festival, at the Beijing International Flower Port, features five outdoor flower display areas and one indoor flower display area, showcasing 109 varieties of bulb flowers, nearly two million in total, with tulips as the main attraction. The peak blooming period runs from mid-April to early May. The festival integrates traditional Chinese-style performances, fun interactive activities, and floral landscapes. Visitors can participate in stamp-collecting check-in games, the "Feihualing" (a classical poetry game), touhu (pitch-pot), and other entertaining activities.
Duration: from April 3 to May 5
"Great Wall Awakening Season" Launch Ceremony & 2026 Apricot Blossom Festival
Apricot blossom-themed photo spots have been set up on-site, allowing visitors to capture spring moments against the backdrop of beacon towers framed by apricot blossoms. An experience zone is also available, featuring costumed character interactions, guided tours with "Ming Dynasty Jinyiwei" characters, and other immersive activities.
