Pueblo Police Department Recovers Multiple Stolen Vehicles and Makes Arrest

PUEBLO- On Sunday, December 28, 2025, Pueblo Police Department Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of Spruce Street. The reporting party called in a white vehicle which was parked on the wrong side of the roadway, abandoned and the engine of the vehicle was still running. A description of two white male suspects was reported to responding officers.

An additional black stolen vehicles was also reported in the 100 block of W. Routt and a Community Service Officer was dispatched to the location. This vehicle was spotted later in the evening driving eastbound on Northern Avenue by an officer on patrol. The black vehicle was identified as being driven by two white males.

At one point, the black stolen vehicle dropped off the passenger, who would not provide information to officers except for his name.

A Pueblo Police officer relocated the black vehicle, and conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of E. 4th St. and Iola Ave. The driver identified as Solomon Vigil, was taken into custody without incident and complied with officers.

Both stolen vehicles were picked up on the License Plate Readers (LPRs) which are utilized by the Real-Time Crime Center of the Pueblo Police Department. Vigil indicated he was given the black vehicle by four other males who left in the stolen white vehicle which was previously recovered. During both vehicle recoveries officers noted the ignitions for the vehicles appeared severely damaged, with parts hanging from the steering columns.

Vigil was charged with Second Degree Motor Vehicle Theft and two municipal warrants for Failure to Appear.
