The visit of Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria Beate Meinl-Reisinger and Federal Minister of the Interior Gerhard Karner to Uzbekistan was rich in practical outcomes.
As part of the visit, the Uzbekistan-Austria Business Forum was held with the participation of more than 100 representatives of the business communities of the two countries. Particular attention was paid to promising initiatives in the mining, agribusiness, pharmaceutical, and green energy sectors. Following the forum, B2B and B2G meetings were organized to define strategic directions for the implementation of new projects.
The guests also visited the International School of Languages and Skills in Tashkent, where they highly appreciated the conditions created in our country for the development of vocational education and expressed interest in cooperation in the field of dual education.
During the visit to the Center of Islamic Civilization, the foreign guests were provided with detailed information about the center's activities, the rich scientific and spiritual heritage of our ancestors, the contribution of Islamic civilization to the development of humanity, as well as the scientific and educational projects being implemented today.
