Updates to Chapter 13 Hearing Dates and Deadlines, Effective June 2026

March 25, 2026

Starting in June 2026, all judges will hold chapter 13 hearings on the first and third Thursday of the month; the hearings will take place at 9:00 a.m. (Judge Fisher), 11:00 a.m. (Chief Judge Constantine), and 1:00 p.m. (Judge Bruggeman). Judge Bruggeman's primary chapter 13 hearing day will be the first Thursday of the month and Chief Judge Constantine's and Judge Fisher's primary chapter 13 hearing day will be the third Thursday of the month. The alternate Thursday hearing date for each judge serves as a supplemental hearing date that may be used by the Court to accommodate initial confirmation hearings as needed. An updated chapter 13 hearing schedule may be found on the court's website at 2026 Updated Chapter 13 Confirmation Hearing Dates.

Also beginning June 1, 2026, the deadline to submit recommended confirmations, requests for continuances, withdrawals of motions or objections, or other actions that would result in a change to the Chapter 13 calendar must be filed in CM/ECF by 3:00 p.m. the Monday before the chapter 13 hearing date. Any request filed after 3:00 p.m. on Monday will not be processed and will remain on the calendar and be called. Unless otherwise advised by the presiding judge, the proceeding will be held in-person. Please note that continuances must be scheduled on the presiding judge's primary chapter 13 hearing date; attorneys will not be able to self-calendar on a judge's supplemental chapter 13 hearing date.
