NCBI leadership training in conflict resolution, April 14

UAA CAFE invites all employees to the NCBI leadership training in conflict resolution on April 14.

Dealing with conflicts using empathy and respect is crucial for anyone in a leadership position. Faculty and staff are invited to register for an in-person National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) leadership training! The NCBI Controversial Issue Process provides space for people to express their concerns, listen attentively to the other side, and reframe an issue in a way that respects the concerns of both sides. Participants will learn skills for effective conflict resolution and get hands-on practice using the Controversial Issue Process with fellow participants.

This training is led by Kimberly Pace, associate professor of political science. If you have questions, email [email protected].
