NASHVILLE, TN and DENVER, CO - January 30, 2026 - Highland Rim Capital ("Highland Rim"), a Nashville-based lower middle market private equity firm, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Xybix Systems, Inc. ("Xybix" or the "Company"), a leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of mission-critical ergonomic workstations serving public safety and other essential end markets.

Founded by Barry and Ken Carson, Xybix is widely recognized as a market leader in ergonomic workstation solutions for 911 dispatch centers and other high-reliability environments. The Company's customizable, sit-to-stand workstations support 24/7 operations and are trusted by more than 500 state and local government agencies across the United States.

Xybix will continue to be led by Adam Cookson, Chief Executive Officer, along with the existing senior leadership team. The founders will maintain an ongoing relationship with the Company to support a smooth transition and continuity for customers and employees.
