Moving day: Giving the flowers a change of scenery

A fun flower-moving event Thursday, provided an opportunity for some fresh air and relocated a large bed of bluebell perennial flowers-and a few daffodils and lilies-near Sankari Park between the Clow and Radford buildings on the UW-Oshkosh campus.
The project was planned as nearby Donner, Webster and Radford halls are being prepared for demolition in an upcoming project to remove the vacated buildings.
Members of the UWO community assisted grounds staff with a project to dig up the flowers, preserve a special piece of the campus landscape and give them a new home just a short distance away along the Clow building. Despite the work going on around it, staff said Sankari Park is slated to remain at its present location.
