Mom Prom Returns May 2 at NOUN Hotel

The City of Norman invites the community to celebrate the moms in their lives at the annual Mom Prom on Saturday, May 2, at the NOUN Hotel, 542 S. University Blvd. This lively and inclusive event offers an evening of dancing, connection, and fun for moms and their guests of all kinds.

This year's Wicked-themed Mom Prom features three unique dance experiences throughout the day, all priced at $20 each:

• 2:00 p.m. - Sensory Friendly Dance
• 4:00 p.m. - Pink Dance
• 6:00 p.m. - Black Dance (21+ only)

Guests can enjoy upbeat music, delicious appetizers, and a festive atmosphere designed to celebrate motherhood in all its forms. The 21+ Black Dance will include two bars, where each guest will receive a complimentary Wicked-themed cocktail. Attendees can choose between a Passionfruit Skinny Margarita or an Elphabavacado Skinny Margarita.

"The great thing about this dance is that it's Mom's Choice!" said Jeff Moody, Program Coordinator. "Moms can bring their kids, their other mom friends, their spouses, whatever they want. It's so fun to watch the moms come out dressed to the nines and ready to party."

A beloved Norman tradition for over a decade, this event transformed from the Mummy-Son Dance to the Mom Prom just a few years ago.

"It is always one of the community's most anticipated events," Moody said, "and we're looking forward to another incredible celebration!"
