Special Convening of ACE’s Faith-Based Commission Addresses “Learning to Disagree Better”

Section 1 Content
A June 8 convening of ACE's Commission on Faith-Based Colleges and Universities will bring together leaders to discuss the timely topic of how faith-based institutions can contribute to improving civic dialogue.

The day-long special convening, "Learning to Disagree Better-What Faith-Based Colleges and Universities Can Bring to the National Dialogue," has two sessions: one in the morning exclusively for presidents and chancellors, and a second in the afternoon open to the media and an array of campus and civic leaders.

Advance registration is free but required to attend. Click here to register now.

The keynote speaker in the public portion of the convening, which will take place at The Catholic University of America's Heritage Hall, will be Republican Utah Gov. Spencer Cox. The governor will share lessons on bridging political, cultural, and religious differences and offer insights into how faith-based institutions can help strengthen constructive national dialogue.

This convening is generously supported by CapinCrouse, a division of Carr, Riggs & Ingram.

The ACE Commission on Faith-Based Colleges and Universities was created to increase visibility for the important contributions of religious and faith-based colleges and universities and to foster collaboration between religious and nonreligious institutions on topics such as access, affordability, and completion that benefit the whole of higher education.
