Voices of Transparency and Excellence: Stony Brook University Podcast’s Special Edition for the USA’s Semiquincentennial

The latest episode of Stony Brook University's podcast "Voices of Transparency and Excellence," hosted by Judi Brown Clarke, vice president of equity & inclusion and chief health equity officer, and Rick Gatteau, vice president of student affairs at Stony Brook University, is in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

"USA at 250," a Season 3 Special Edition Episode, features Richard Tomczak, director of faculty engagement and research assistant professor in history at Stony Brook University.

The podcast invites listeners to step back in time to the historical events that led to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Gatteau and Clarke talk about the United States of America 250 years later and ask the question, "What would the Founding Fathers think of American government and politics today?"

The "Voices of Transparency and Excellence" podcast series addresses crucial topics impacting our campus and community. Faculty from across disciplines discuss their research and expertise. Episode topics include NASA Artemis Missions with Tim Glotch, Socioeconomic Factors of Sleep with Lauren Hale, Is Romance Alive and Well?
