City of West Hollywood to Host Los Angeles Kids’ Book Festival on September 7

The City of West Hollywood is thrilled to announce its co-sponsorship of the American Born Chinese Foundation's third-annual Los Angeles Kids' Book Festival, which will be held in West Hollywood Park, located at 647 N. San Vicente Boulevard, on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This exciting free event aims to celebrate children's literature, foster a love for reading, and provide a platform for both young readers and aspiring authors to engage with the magical world of books and meet authors and illustrators.

The City of West Hollywood has co-sponsored and hosted the Los Angeles Kids' Book Festival since 2023. This keystone event from the American Born Chinese Foundation offers families and young readers an immersive experience that celebrates storytelling and the joy of reading. The festival will feature a wide range of activities catering to children of all ages, including interactive storytelling sessions, book readings by renowned authors, and engaging arts and crafts activities. Local authors and illustrators will be present to share their insights, inspirations, and stories behind their creations.

Due to the anticipated attendance at West Hollywood Park for this event, it is expected that parking will be impacted at the City's 5-story parking lot at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard. We encourage all attendees to carpool, utilize public transportation by visiting the Metro trip planner, or consider ridesharing alternatives. Paid public parking is also available at the Pacific Design Center, located at 8687 Melrose Avenue.
