The central theme "Investing in Greece's Extroversion" reflects the determination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its supervised organisations, Enterprise Greece and Export Credit Greece, to enhance, to the greatest possible extent, the international visibility of the progress Greece has made, particularly in the fields of exports and foreign investment, as well as the growth potential of the Greek economy.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Enterprise Greece and Export Credit Greece are once again participating with a joint pavilion at the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), which will take place from 5 to 13 September 2026.
All the individual events organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for this year's TIF aim at showcasing Greece's modern and strongly outward-looking profile in a comprehensive manner.
The detailed programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs events at TIF 2026 is as follows.

Friday, 4 September
18:00 | Olympion - "Pavlos Zannas" Hall
"Extroversion for a strong Greece: The country's international presence as a force for prosperity, credibility, and social progress".
The keynote speakers will be the Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis; the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Theoharis Theoharis; the Secretary General for International Economic Affairs & Extroversion and Chairman of Enterprise Greece, Dimitris Skalkos; and the Chief Executive Officer of Export Credit Greece, Nikolaos Vagiannis.
Saturday, 5 September
11:00 | Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pavilion
"Promoting and implementing flagship UNESCO programmes in Greece: national achievements and significant synergies"
The event is co-organised with the Hellenic National Commission for UNESCO. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ioannis-Michail Loverdos, will deliver a welcoming address.
12:00 | Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pavilion
"Exporting Innovation to Japan"
A discussion will be held with the participation of the Secretary General for International Economic Affairs & Extroversion, Dimitris Skalkos, as well as representatives of Greek companies operating in Japan, which is the honoured country of the 90th TIF.
13:30 | Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pavilion
"The challenges facing Greek exports: resilience and protection in times of change"
The event is organised by Export Credit Greece (ECG). The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Theoharis Theoharis, will deliver a welcoming address. The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ECG, as well as representatives of Greek companies and banking institutions will participate in the event.
Sunday, 6 September

"From knowledge to international markets: strategies and tools for the growth of Greek businesses"
The event is organised by Enterprise Greece, through its Exports Academy and Export Helpdesk services, and focuses on ways in which Greek businesses can expand their export activities. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Theoharis Theoharis, will deliver a welcoming address.
17:00 | Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pavilion
"Discover Japan"
The event is co-organised by Enterprise Greece, SEVE, SEV and ACCI. It will be held with the participation of the Secretary General for International Economic Affairs and Extroversion, a representative of the Embassy of Japan in Greece, and business representatives. The event will focus on presenting the characteristics of the Japanese market and the business opportunities it offers.
Monday, 7 September
16:00 | Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pavilion
"Thessaloniki: an extroversion asset for the Greek economy in Southeastern and Central Europe. Connecting Greece with new trade corridors"
The event will feature the Secretary General for International Economic Affairs and Extroversion, and a representative of the Thessaloniki Port Authority.

"Greece as a strategic energy hub for Europe: the role of energy networks in the energy transition and security of supply"
The event is co-organised with the Regulatory Authority for Energy, Waste and Water and Enterprise Greece, with the participation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Enterprise Greece, the Regulatory Authority for Energy, Waste and Water, and representatives of energy sector companies.
Thursday, 10 September
18:00 | Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pavilion
"THEMATIC2GREEN: driving green transition through innovation and transnational cooperation"
The event is organised by Enterprise Greece, within the framework of the co-funded European project Thematic2Green (IPA-ADRION INTERREG 21-27), with the aim of promoting new environmental management practices in businesses. The event will be attended by entities from Italy, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The joint pavilion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Enterprise Greece and Export Credit Greece at the TIF is located at Pavilion 13 (Stand 9).
