14 January, 2026On January 14, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan received the delegation led by Carl Kress, the Regional Director of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, which is on an official visit to Armenia.
The interlocutors discussed steps aimed at implementing the Memoranda of Understanding signed between Armenia and the United States on the margins of the Washington Peace Summit of August 8, 2025, including the "TRIPP" project and the energy sector, as well as the prospects for advancing cooperation in the mining industry.
The parties commended the effective implementation of the agreements reached, noting in particular the publication of the Armenia-U.S. Implementation Framework for the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) project, following the meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on January 13, 2026.
The interlocutors reaffirmed their mutual commitment to ensuring the continuity and further development of bilateral cooperation in the areas of mutual interest.
