Laclede County Route J to close next week for culvert replacement

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Laclede County Route J, west of Missouri Route 5, is scheduled to close next week for a culvert replacement project. Local crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close Route J on Monday, Aug. 10, and Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, between Route 5 and Route PP at Morgan. The roadway is expected to reopen to traffic each evening.

During the closure, through traffic must seek an alternate route. All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
