QUICK CLIP: Carr Goes After “No Show” Jones for Running to Benefit His Family’s Business Interests

QUICK CLIP: Carr Goes After "No Show" Jones for Running to Benefit His Family's Business Interests

Carr: "He's got a lot of family conflicts."

At the AJC Politically Georgia forum yesterday, Chris Carr once again accused "no show" Burt Jones of running for governor and abusing his office to benefit his family's own business interests.

Carr said that Jones "has a lot of family conflicts" - a pointed reference to Jones backing multiple proposals and plans that allowed hospitals to be built on land his family owns. This is the latest in a long string of attacks Carr has made against Jones for abusing his office for private gain.

Watch for yourself:

Patricia Murphy: And I'm going to ask you because you mentioned it, you've never been given anything in life. Is that a reference to the Lieutenant Governor as well?

Chris Carr: Well, it is … he's been given, he's been given a lot.

Chris Carr: There is one no-show. It's the Lieutenant Governor. And I am told that it's because he had a family conflict. Y'all, he's got a lot of family conflicts, all right?
