Free Upcoming Outdoor Family Events At Las Vegas Civic Center

The Downtown SLAM! Live Wrestling Event April 15

Mr. Shakespeare's Neighborhood Henry V April 17

Music Of The Night: A Concert Of Musical Gems May 2

Bring the family to enjoy three free events on the outdoor plaza at Las Vegas Civic Center, 525 S. Main St. April 15, April 17 and May 2, 2026. For each event, $6 event parking will be available across the street at the 500 S. Main St. parking garage.

The Downtown SLAM! Live Wrestling Event will have a 5 p.m. pre-show, followed by the main show from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 15. This will be a night of all-out, action-packed professional wrestling entertainment to rock downtown. Big Valley Wrestling will offer championship matches, scores to settle and the best and brightest of Big Valley Wrestling. Fans are encouraged to get loud by cheering their favorites and booing their least favorites, as well as express their wrestling fandom and dress as their favorite wrestler. Be sure to arrive when doors open at 5 p.m. to find your favorite spot on the plaza and get the best view. The kickoff show will feature interviews with the wrestlers ahead of their anticipated matches for the evening. Reserve your spot and get event updates here.

The "Mr. Shakespeare's Neighborhood Henry V" Friday, April 17, performance will begin at 7 p.m. Join the Nevada Shakespeare Festival for an imaginative retelling of Shakespeare's classic "Henry V" that is appropriate for all ages. This sword-fighting, quick-changing, lightning-fast retelling of the Shakespearean classic includes a generational grudge, a new young king, voyages at sea and epic battles on foreign soil. Shakespeare's "Henry V" focuses on the transformation of Henry from a wild party animal prince to a loving, thoughtful but firm ruler who leads England into France to lay claim to the French throne. This 80-minute adaptation includes wigs, masks, puppetry, mediocre French accents and plenty of epic sword fights. The production is adapted and directed by the Festival's Artistic Director Matt Morgan and features actors Christopher Brown, Karsyn Artemis Love, Brandon Alan McClenahan, Lindsay Wray, Jamey Maurice Clay and Rebecca Husain. You may know Shakespeare, but you've never experienced him like this! Reserve your spot and get event updates here.

The city of Las Vegas and Vegas City Opera present a night of free musical theater Saturday, May 2, starting at 7 p.m. World-class voices from Broadway and Carnegie Hall will offer the best of Broadway blockbusters, off-Broadway gems and international showstoppers - all served with a dash of drama and a wink of intrigue - during "The Music of the Night: A Concert of Musical Gems." Reserve your spot and get event updates here.

Bring your low-back chairs and blankets to be more comfortable on the plaza while you enjoy the free entertainment. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Pets and glass containers are not allowed on the plaza at Las Vegas Civic Center.
