The Terra State Community College Board of Trustees announced that Governor Mike DeWine has appointed Elaine E. Daugherty to serve on the board of trustees for a term beginning June 5, 2026, and ending December 30, 2030.
Daugherty is from Tiffin, Ohio and has over 20 years of experience in financial planning and strategies. She began her career with Edward Jones as a financial advisor in Tiffin, Ohio, and later became a General Partner with the firm.
Daugherty graduated magna cum laude from The University of Toledo in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in finance and continues to earn advanced certifications in her field including: the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS™) designation, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification, and the Accredited Behavioral Finance ProfessionalSM (ABFPSM) designation. These certifications required Daugherty to successfully complete comprehensive education and rigorous examinations and attest to her professional commitment.
Daugherty is equally committed to the community and has served as past president of Tiffin-Seneca United Way and the Rotary Club of Tiffin, Ohio.
"As far as joining the Board, I am hopeful to work with our other members on a successful recovery plan. I want to assure the community that I am passionate about education and will work diligently to seek a sound resolution," said Daugherty.
