Whether you are new to registering for classes or are approaching your last semester, this guide shares important steps to register like a pro. Now is the time to plan your schedule. Preparing early will increase your chances of getting the courses and class times you want and help you stay on track for graduation.
You can view your enrollment window in myUCF. This information relays the earliest date and time you can register, so add it to your calendar. To find it, sign in to myUCF, open your Student Center, and look for your enrollment appointment under Manage Classes.
Undergraduate students should connect with their Academic Success Coach if they have questions or would like guidance selecting classes. Schedule an appointment to make sure you're fulfilling your degree requirements and staying on track.
Graduate students should review their graduate plan of study and the Fall Registration Overview ahead of registration. For more assistance, reach out to the Graduate Academic Advising Office or the College of Graduate Studies.
Check your Holds & To-Dos in myUCF. A hold may keep you from registering until it's resolved. If you need help, connect with an Academic Advocate.
Use mySchedule Builder to preview and compare class schedules. To navigate to mySchedule Builder, open your Student Center in myUCF, locate the Manage Classes tile where you will find Planner Tools. This feature allows you to preview and compare every possible class schedule until you find the one that works for you.
Once you develop your game plan, you can start adding your selected classes to your Student Center shopping cart. Even if your assigned enrollment window has not opened, you can pre-load your shopping cart with your classes so that you can quickly enroll once your enrollment window opens. This saves you time and increases the chances of claiming a spot in your selected classes.
If you haven't worked through Campus Solutions yet, watch this step-by-step video to see how to search for courses, manage your schedule, and enroll.
Undergraduates can contact their Academic Success Coach or Academic Advocate for assistance.
