Planned Roadwork for Northwest Missouri, Jan. 19-25…

St. Joseph, Mo. - The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northwest Missouri region for the week of Jan. 19-25.

There may be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. Check the MoDOT Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org, or download the app for updated information.

Atchison County

Route F - CLOSED at the Rock Creek Bridge for a bridge rehabilitation project through January 2026. (Contractor: Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc.)

Buchanan County

Gene Field Road Bridge - CLOSED due to damage from being struck by an oversized load. The project was awarded to Clarkson Construction Company. The project schedule is currently being determined. https://www.modot.org/projects/gene-field-road-bridge-replacement-over-interstate-29-buchanan-county

Route 752 (Alabama Street) - CLOSED from U.S. Route 59 to Sherman Street for an intersection improvement project through February 2026. (Contractor: Amino Bros. Co., Inc.) https://www.modot.org/projects/route-u-missouri-route-59-and-missouri-route-752-intersection-improvements-buchanan-county.

Faraon Street - Eastbound right-hand turn lane CLOSED for utility work at Belt Highway, Jan. 21, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

U.S. Route 169 (Belt Highway) - Utility work southbound from Fredrick Avenue to Faraon Street, overnight starting at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 23, to 8:30 a.m. Jan. 24. The southbound driving lane will be closed.

Caldwell County

Route D - CLOSED for a bridge replacement project at the Shoal Creek Bridge through March 2026. (Contractor: Cale Seymour Construction, LLC) https://www.modot.org/route-d-bridge-replacement-caldwell.

Carroll County

Route W - Brush cutting from Route T to U.S. Route 65, Jan. 20-23, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. The road will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers guiding motorists through the work zone.

Chariton County

Route PP - CLOSED at the Mid-Fork Chariton River Overflow Bridge for replacement projects through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through March 2026. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin) *1

Route KK - CLOSED at the Puzzle Creek Bridge for a replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through mid-March 2026. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin) *1

Route O - CLOSED at the Bee Creek Bridge for a replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through April 2026. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin) *1

Linn County

Route 11 - CLOSED at the Badger Creek Bridge, north of New Boston, for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through May 2026. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin) *1

Route 139 - CLOSED at the Parson Creek Bridge, north of Meadville, for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through May 2026. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin) *1

U.S. Route 36 - Bridge maintenance westbound at the bridge over Turkey Creek, Jan. 20-22. The bridge will be narrowed to one lane around-the-clock.

Livingston County

Route K - CLOSED at the North Fork Crooked Creek Bridge beginning Feb. 19 for a bridge replacement project through the Northwest Bridge Bundle through April 2026. (Capital-Horner & Shifrin) *1

Nodaway County

U.S. Route 71 - Pothole patching both directions from the Iowa State line to Route FF, Jan. 20-23.

Sullivan County

Worth County
