August 17, 2026

After an extraordinary 55-year career with Security National Bank, Security National Corporation Chairman, President and CEO D. Douglas Rice has set a retirement date of September 1, 2026.

Rice's leadership has shaped our organization and the communities we serve. His unwavering commitment to our customers, employees, shareholders, and communities has built a legacy that will continue to guide Security National Bank for years to come.

Effective September 1, 2026, following a carefully planned succession process, the Board of Directors has named Jeremy Craighead as Chairman, President & CEO of Security National Corporation and Security National Bank. Jeremy Uhl has been named Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Security National Corporation, and will continue to serve as Executive Vice President & CFO of Security National Bank.

"We are well positioned for the future," Rice said. "Jeremy Craighead and Jeremy Uhl bring more than 37 years of banking experience, a deep commitment to our service culture, and the leadership to continue building on the strong foundation we've created. Our success has always been driven by the people throughout this organization, and I know our employees will continue to make Security National a special place to work and bank."

Doug began his career as a teller with Security National Bank in 1971, when the organization first reached $100 million in assets. Over his tenure, he contributed to one of the most significant periods of growth in the company's history, serving in numerous leadership roles before becoming Chairman, President and CEO.

Today, Security National Corporation has grown to $8.5 billion in total assets, $2 billion in bank assets and $6.5 billion in wealth management.

Throughout his career, Doug has been deeply committed to serving the Siouxland community beyond the walls of the Bank. Among his many community leadership roles, he served as President of both the Sioux City Public Library Board and the Sioux City Public Library Foundation, Vice President of the Sioux Gateway Airport Board of Trustees, Treasurer of the UnityPoint St. Luke's Board of Directors, and a board member of Pierce Street Same Day Surgery and the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce. Doug and his wife, Jane, also served as Campaign Chairs for the United Way of Siouxland.

Today, Rice continues his commitment to community and industry leadership as past Chairman and current board member of The Siouxland Initiative. Doug also serves as past Chairman and current board member of SHAZAM, a nonprofit payment network that supports more than 1,500 community financial institutions across the United States.

Doug will continue to serve on the Board of Directors of Security National Corporation.
