Portland, OR - Yesterday, Christine Drazan unveiled her list of empty campaign promises. Notably absent from the list were any meaningful details on Oregon's health care system.
Oregon is a state where nearly 1 in 3 residents - and over 50% of children - are covered by the Oregon Health Plan, Oregon's Medicaid program. So far, Drazan has refused to speak out against Donald Trump's Big Ugly Bill, which is expected to cut funds to Oregon's Medicaid program by $4.7 billion over the next five years.
As a legislator, Drazan repeatedly voted to cut health care for Oregon families:
"Christine Drazan has no plan to protect Oregonians' health care, because she has pushed MAGA-style health care cuts at every opportunity," said Democratic Party of Oregon Chair Nathan Soltz. "Just like Donald Trump, her plan is to cut the services that Oregon's seniors, children, and families depend on so she can focus on tax giveaways to big business."
