TRAFFIC ALERT - Kent County - Closure of Moorton Road between Main Street and Lynnbury Woods Road
Closure of Moorton Road between Main Street and Lynnbury Woods Road
Cheswold - ; The Delaware Department of Transportation announces the closure of Moorton Road between Main Street and Lynnbury Woods Road starting on Monday, November 2nd through Friday, November 20th (weather permitting) for the installation of two pipelines to connect to existing pipe.
Detour - Traffic approaching the work site from the north will turn east onto Lynnbury Woods Road, then turn left onto Brenford Road and left onto Seven Hickories Road. Motorists will continue to the south end of the detour at the intersection of Moorton Road, Seven Hickories Road, Main Street, and McKee Road.
Traffic approaching the work site from the south will travel west on Seven Hickories Road, turn right onto Brenford Road, then turn right onto Lynnbury Woods Road. Motorists will continue to the north end of the detour at the intersection of Moorton Road and Lynnbury Woods Road.
