Muskingum University celebrates the outstanding achievement of its 2024-2025 nursing graduates, all of whom passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) on their first attempt.
The two classes - Winter 2024 and Spring 2025 - continue Muskingum's strong track record of success, as all Spring 2024 nursing graduates also passed the NCLEX on their first attempt. This success underscores the program's commitment to preparing exceptional nurses and addressing the critical nursing shortage, particularly in Southeastern Ohio, where access to skilled healthcare professionals is essential.
The success of University students has culminated in RegisteredNursing.org awarding Muskingum a #2 ranked nursing school in Ohio out of 92 Ohio schools analyzed. This distinction reflects the daily work faculty, staff, and students put into creating a strong academic experience, one that prepares graduates to step into nursing careers with confidence.
To meet the diverse needs of aspiring nurses, the University offers three distinct pathways to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Traditional undergraduate students can pursue a four-year, on-campus BSN, students can earn a second bachelor's in a hybrid accelerated BSN program, and registered nurses can advance their careers through the 100 percent online RN-to-BSN program. These flexible options ensure that students at every stage of their professional journey can achieve their nursing goals.
