Attends Ceremony Unveiling Pilgrim's Road
U.S. SENATE - U.S. Senator Steve Daines met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv. He also attended the unveiling ceremony of the "Pilgrim's Road" at the City of David National Park with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
"It was an honor and privilege to travel to Israel this weekend and convey my support to Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli people. As we approach the two-year anniversary of the worst terrorist attack in Israel's history, it's important to remember that there will not be peace in Israel or Gaza until Hamas is eradicated and every single hostage is returned. The United States must stand with Israel.
"It was also an honor to attend the unveiling ceremony of the Pilgrim's Road, one of the most important archaeological discoveries in the world. To see firsthand the steps that Jesus walked on and the Pool of Siloam where he healed the blind man was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
