Waynesburg University has selected Cheyenne Haskell as a 2026 recipient of the Founders Scholarship, which covers tuition and fees in full. She is the daughter of Jillian and Chris Igoe.
Haskell is a graduate of Central Regional High School in Bayville, New Jersey, where she was an Honors and AP student. She was a member of the National, Science, History and English Honor Societies and was a JROTC officer for three years. Haskell participated in student council and the newspaper club.
Haskell ran track for four years and qualified for sectionals each year. She will continue her track and field career at Waynesburg.
In addition to her academic and athletic endeavors, Haskell is an active member of her community, having accumulated 350+ volunteer hours. She serves as an intern for her local mayor's office and the Berkeley Recreation Center.
Haskell looks forward to her next chapter.

The Founders Scholarship is a full tuition and fees scholarship awarded to a select group of high-academic performing first-year freshman students.
