Nursing Student Receives Scholarship
Northern Michigan University nursing student Courtney Rajala of Cooperville, Mich., has been selected as one of four recipients of Lake Trust Foundation's 2025 New Beginnings Scholarship.
According to a press release, the New Beginnings Scholarship is awarded to those who want to pursue skilled trades and technical fields, encouraging Michigan students to advance in their careers and enter high-demand careers that support local communities. Each recipient is awarded $7,500 dollars to support educational expenses including tuition and textbooks.
The Lake Trust Foundation is an independent charitable organization of Lake Trust Credit Union based in Brighton, Mich.
